Report :

The Brown bite has been a little erratic but has settled in recently as water temps are climbing and the bigger fish are on the move. Lots of 1 to 3 , 4 to 6 lbers have been showing more and a few quality fish have been biting with some coming in around 8 lbs. Look for bait balls in water from 35 to 50 ft and the best baits have been slow trolled spoons with minnows or Rapala shadow Raps in natural patterns! Logan Shoals, Cave Rock and Sand Harbor have been best.

Lake Trout action is steady with 2 to 6 lbers common on trolled minnows or jiggings. 50 to 65 ft is ok then 155 to 200ft is very good mid morning. Williamson Vortex jigs in white 3 oz on calm days and 4 oz on windy days. Good action off cave Rock, Dollar point, Brockway and Sand harbor!
